Cautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder,  impaction, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, cramps, spasms or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, cardiac glycosides, anti-arrhythmic or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have fever. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.

Contra-Indications: Not for use in children under 12 years of age.

Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease (e.g Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids, or diarrhoea.

Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy is known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. During the course of treatment, a harmless red color may occur in urine.
